Hi all..
As most of you know, I got married a few months ago and would like to share my experiences with you...
He and me are both from different families each with a different life style of its own.
We never knew each other before but we decided to enter into life time relationship and the decision was made after a couple of telephonic conversations...
We decided to enter the wed lock on 11th December,2009.
And I planned to fly to India on 19th of November and he on 24th of November.
We met for the second time at my home on 30th of November and that was a formal engagement, a gathering of both the families.
Then this telangana issue came up and every day they started coming up with new demands. This was the major disturbance in the lives of people from both andhra area and telangana area.
Arey bhai... though we were born in andhra, our schooling and all happened in hyderabad and I now dont understand why the hell do these telangana people want their separate state....
Planning to do much of my shopping in India, I bought nothing here in United States before flying to my home country. This telangana issue forced people into losses by just not letting them do their businesses (the so called BANDH)
The day we started from Hyderabad to Vijayawada (commencement of my wedding was in vjw), all the chaos in hyd got settled and now this andhra people started their own fight for SAMAIKHYANDHRA.
Oh my God.... On the day of weeding also the bandh was still continuig and we thought most of the people wouldnt show up for the function. But then to our surprise, 98% of them showed up before everything ended.
The effect of the bandh started slightly fading around 5 in the evening and our wedding was planned at 7:30 Pm. So there was a chance for the guests to plan things and bless us. Thanks (from the bottom of my heart) to all of them who made it.
The reason for me thanking them so personally is, coz of the bandh, there were no buses, no autos or anything. I mean to say no means of public transportation. And I understood the trouble the guests suffered in attending for the wedding. Mostly few oldies who have a hard time even to walk, I am totally pleased with their appearance at the venue.
After the wedding, we had reception on the 13th in hyderabad (my place). And there was bandh again... But now, 99% of them came.
Specially to mention, I was very happy to see my under graduation mates sudha with her husband and archana. Thanks a million dear...
The next day we went to tirupathi. I was taking the steps along with my husband and a couple of his friends. We were talking all the way and that made the walk less tiresome. Thanks to you guys...
Finally the whole India trip happened to be very boring coz of this telangana issue. Thought P.R or Y.S.R were alive and in that case, this issue would have never came up.
And thats how it all went in the rush.... I was kind of little upset but then how the marriage happened isnt important but all that matters to me is whether the after marriage days keep me happy or sad. And I am glad I am happy with Raj...
And last but not the least I MUST thank my mom and dad for finding such a wonderful partner for me... thanks ma and dad... lv u both...
Ooooops... got something to do...
Will catch up with ya very soon..
till then take care..
bubyeeeeee
